About Chalazion & Hordeolum (Stye)
A chalazion is a blocked oil gland causing a painless lump, while a hordeolum (stye) is an acute infection causing a painful swelling.
Symptoms:
- Localised eyelid swelling
- Tenderness (stye)
- Persistent lump (chalazion)

- Incision and drainage for persistent or recurrent lesions
